Cotrading S.L. was founded in 1990 by a management team with extensive experience in the food industry and is currently among the strongest Spanish commercial companies within the sector.
Cotrading´s activity is divided between the marketing, import and distribution of both brands and private labels and account for 80% and 20% respectively of the turnover in the distribution channel.
In January 2005 Cotrading creates a new subsidiary in France, in order to facilitate sales in this territory. In late 2010 Cotrading makes the leap to South America and a second subsidiary is consolidated, subsidiaries are opened in Colombia and Panama.
Following its expansion, Cotrading faces the African continent in 2013 with the opening of a new a subsidiary in Morocco. In the same year independent business units are created in each subsidiary for the development of private and exclusive brands in the categories of personal care, home and pets. .
